James Dennis, Executive Chairman
Mr. Dennis is the company's senior executive, a position he has filled since 2005. Previously, he served as HealtheTech's CEO and President. Prior to HealtheTech, Mr. Dennis served as World Wide President for Johnson and Johnson's Biosense Webster division. Earlier in his career he served as President of the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division for St. Jude Medical, President and CEO of Telectronics Pacing Systems, and Vice President of Operations for Nellcor, Inc. Mr. Dennis received a B.A. in Business Administration and a M.B.A. from National University in San Diego, CA.
Mike Dailey, Senior Vice President of Real Estate
Mr. Dailey manages the real estate and construction teams and is closely involved with each MVG project. Prior to joining MVG Development, Mike was Director of Real Estate for Opus Northwest and was responsible for all retail development in Colorado, Nebraska, Montana, and Wyoming. Mike also held positions in the real estate departments of Level 3 Communications and Safeway where he was involved with portfolio expansions and dispositions throughout the country. Mr. Dailey has a J.D. from the University of Denver and a B.S. in Business Administration from Menlo College in Atherton, CA. He is a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker and attorney.
Carolyn S. Powell, Esq., Vice President and General Counsel
Ms. Powell oversees the legal, lease administration, and human resource divisions of the company. Prior to joining MVG Development, she was Director of Legal Services for NUSS Professional Services Group, Inc., serving as Corporate Counsel for a group of companies specialized in transportation, aviation and third party logistics. Prior to that, she was in private practice in Boulder, Colorado, representing clients in corporate and real estate litigation. Her management background includes new store expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and distribution for Payless Shoesource as well as financial and revenue stream process management for Sprint PCS and international ATM development for American Express. Ms Powell has a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma, a M.B.A. from the University of Kansas and a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law. She is a member of the Real Property, and Business Law Sections of the American Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association.
Jonathan Rankin, Vice President, CFO
Mr. Rankin has been with MVG Development since July 2006 and is responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of the business including property sales. Prior to joining MVG, he held multiple positions in corporate finance and investment banking with a focus on acquisitions and high yield debt financing. Mr. Rankin worked in the Leveraged Finance group for Banc of America Securities for five years where he participated in structuring over $10 billion worth of financings for leveraged buyouts, M&A transactions, restructuring and refinancing transactions across a broad spectrum of industries. Mr. Rankin graduated magna cum laude with a B.B.A in Finance from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.
Anthony Robertazzi, Director of Construction Management
Mr. Robertazzi serves as Director of Construction Management and has overall responsibility for MVG's entitlement and construction activities. He has over 26 years experience managing Hi Rise, Ground Up, and Tenant Improvement Construction. Mr. Robertazzi has directed the entitlement, design and construction efforts for such companies as Midas International, 24 Hour Fitness, Alta Colleges, Host Marriott Corporation, and Qdoba Mexican Grill. He brings experience working in all lower 48 states and Alaska. Mr. Robertazzi attended Missouri Valley College and The Missouri School of Mines where he studied Construction Management and Metallurgical Engineering. He is a member of the Construction Management Association of America.
